General information: 

• The windshields and windows used in special protection vehicles are much heavier than those found in series production vehicles.

The following must be observed to prevent injuries: 

• When closing or opening the side windows, ensure that nobody gets injured by getting caught in moving parts.
• When the side windows are being closed and one of the windows is blocked, the closing procedure is not automatically aborted.
• Secure the windshields and windows against falling down using suitable support equipment.
• Always get the help of a second person when installing and removing windshields and windows.
• Only use the lifting tools specified by Daimler.
• Wear safety shoes.
