	Check
1	Switch off engine and switch on ignition	Engine hood, trunk lid and all doors closed.
2	Operate parking brake
3	Check warning lamps (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) and indicator lamps (7, 13, 14) for proper operation	In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
4	Manually switch on low beams	No bulb failure message in multifunction display (15). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
5	Switch on high beam	High beam indicator lamp (3) must light up and there must be no lamp failure signal in the multifunction display (15). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
6	Engage reverse gear and press service brake	No bulb failure message in multifunction display (15).
7	Switch off ignition and exterior lights
8	Switch on hazard warning flasher	The left and right turn signal indicator lamps (1, 2) light and flash at the same time. In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
9	Switch off hazard warning flasher
