	Check
1	Switch off engine and switch on ignition	Engine hood, trunk lid and all doors closed.
2	Operate parking brake
3	Check warning lamps (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14) and indicator lamps (6, 12, 13) for proper operation	In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
4	Manually switch on low beams	The low beams indicator lamp (4) must light up and there must not be a lamp failure message in the multifunction display (15). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
5	Switch on high beam	The high beams indicator lamp (3) must light up and there must not be a lamp failure message in the multifunction display (15). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
6	Switch on rear fog lamp	The rear fog light indicator lamp (5) must light up and there must not be a lamp failure message in the multifunction display (15). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
7	Engage reverse gear and press service brake	No lamp failure message in the multifunction display (15).
8	Switch off ignition and exterior lights
9	Switch on hazard warning flasher	The left and right turn signal light indicator lamps (1, 2) light and flash at the same time. In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
10	Switch off hazard warning flasher
