	Check
1	Switch off engine and switch on ignition	Engine hood, liftgate and all doors closed.
2	Operate parking brake
3.1	Check warning lamps (5, 7, 8, 9, 11) and indicator lamps (6, 10) for proper operation	Model 169 (except 169.090) In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
3.2	Check warning lamps (5, 7, 8, 9) and indicator lamps (6) for proper operation	169.090 In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
5	Manually switch on low beams	MODEL 245 Low beams indicator lamp (4) must light up. No bulb failure message in the multifunction display (12). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
6	Switch on high beam	High beam indicator lamp (3) must light up and there must be no lamp failure signal in the multifunction display (12). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
7	Engage reverse gear and press service brake	No bulb failure message in the multifunction display (12).
8	Switch off ignition and exterior lights
9	Switch on hazard warning flasher	The left and right turn signal light indicator lamps (1, 2) light and flash at the same time. In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
10	Switch off hazard warning flasher
