	Remove
	Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning  and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A

1	Remove footrest on the passenger-side
	Remove/install footrest on passenger side	MODEL 451.3## (except 451.334/380) 1#, 451.4## (except 451.480) 1# with CODE LHD (Left-hand drive)	AR68.30-P-1340MCC
	Remove/install footrest on passenger-side	MODEL 451.3## (except 451.334/380) 2#, 451.4## (except 451.480) 2# with CODE RHD (Right-hand drive)	AR68.30-P-1340MCE
2	Unscrew nut (3)
3	Unclip the retaining clip (2) on the bracket (1) and remove bracket (1)	On model 451.3##/4## 2# the bracket (1) is only raised until the stop plugs (4) are accessible.
4	Unscrew plugs (4) on the battery (G1)
	Check
5	Check fluid level of battery (G1) and correct if necessary	In each cell the fluid must reach the land (arrow) let into the filler opening; top up with distilled water up to the land (arrow) if necessary.
	Install
6	Screw in plug (4)
7	Insert bracket (1) and clip in retaining clip (2) at the bracket (1)
8	Tighten nut (3)	Install a new self-locking nut (3).
9	Install footrest on the passenger-side
