	Check
1	Switch off engine and switch on ignition	Engine hood, liftgate and all doors closed.
2	Operate parking brake
3	Check warning lamps (7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17) and indicator lamps (8, 14, 16) for proper operation	In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
4	Manually switch on low beams	The low beams indicator lamp (4) and standing lights indicator lamp (6) must light up and there must be no lamp failure signal in the multifunction display (18). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
5	Switch on high beam	High beam indicator lamp (3) must light up and there must be no lamp failure signal in the multifunction display (18). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
6	Switch on rear fog lamp	Rear fog light indicator lamp (5) must light up and there must be no lamp failure signal in the multifunction display (18). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
7	Engage reverse gear and press service brake	No lamp failure signal in multifunction display (18).
8	Switch off ignition and exterior lights
9	Switch on hazard warning system	The left and right turn signal light indicator lamps (1, 2) light and flash at the same time. In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
10	Switch off hazard warning system
