Notes on TV antenna in rear window - AH82.62-P-0001-01A
MODEL 210.0 as of 7/1/99
The model 210 sedan vehicles equipped with Comand will be equipped as of the middle of October 1999 with the antenna lines required for the TV tuner on the rear window.
Vehicles produced up to this period in time must be checked for the presence of these connection lines!
To do so the C-pillar panel at the right is to be removed and checked to see if the rear window connection lines for the upper right antenna amplifier (A2/9) and bottom right antenna amplifier (A2/25) are present.
The connection lines are strapped down with self-adhesive felt on or below the right gas generator.
For vehicles in which these connection lines are not present, a new
rear window has to then be fitted for installation of the TV system!
The rear window is to be ordered to match the vehicle equipment. The resulting cost outlay involved is to be discussed with the customer beforehand.
