Diaphragm travel sensor circlip
The circlip is different for the Lucas and ITT/Ate brake booster! When inserting a new circlip it is essential to ensure that the correct circlip of the two circlips in the spare parts set is used. It can be recognized from the sticker on the brake booster whether it is a Lucas or ITT/Ate brake booster.
Otherwise leaktightness of the brake booster cannot be guaranteed.
Diaphragm travel sensor sealing ring
The diaphragm travel sensor must not be replaced if there is a vacuum in the brake booster.
Otherwise there is the danger that when removing the diaphragm sensor the sealing ring will fall into the brake booster and the complete brake booster would have to be replaced.
