	Lowering
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Raise vehicle with vehicle lift
2	Clean area surrounding the oil filler screw (1) on the transmission (2) and unscrew the oil filler screw (1)	Collect transmission oil which runs out in a suitable container.
3	Unscrew oil drain screw (3) on transmission (2) and drain transmission oil	Drain transmission oil when transmission (2) at operating temperature only. Collect transmission oil in suitable container. Allow transmission oil to drain completely.
	Filling
4	Screw oil drain screw (3) into transmission (2)	MODEL 451.3 with ENGINE 132.910 with TRANSMISSION 717.4 with CODE 494 (US version) MODEL 451.4 with ENGINE 132.910 with TRANSMISSION 717.4 with CODE 494 (US version)	*BA26.40-P-1001-01D

5	Pour in oil until it reaches lower edge of filler opening
	Gear oils (Sheet 235.72)		Automatic shift gear oil, Model 451 and 454 (Specification 235.72). See https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/index.php?language_id=1
6	Tighten oil filler screw (1) on transmission (2)	MODEL 451.4 with ENGINE 132.910 with TRANSMISSION 717.4 with CODE 494 (US version) MODEL 451.3 with ENGINE 132.910 with TRANSMISSION 717.4 with CODE 494 (US version)	*BA26.40-P-1001-01D
