The installation location for the navigation processor (A2/30) can be in either the trunk or the spare wheel well. If installed in the spare wheel well a spare wheel cannot be carried in the vehicle! Equip vehicle with TIREFIT.

The installation location for the GPS antenna can be on the trunk lid or on the rear shelf.

Rear shelf  The reception characteristics of the GPS antenna are limited when the soft top is closed.

This means that vehicles coming from a non-digitized area, e.g. an underground garage take longer to locate the route guidance!

Trunk lid 

The reception characteristics of the GPS antenna are not limited  when the soft top is closed.

Each installation location is to be coordinated with the customer (vehicle owner). The GPS antenna may only be mounted on the rear shelf in exceptional circumstances  .

Exception case: Customer's decision to purchase is based solely on appearance. The customer must always be notified about the disadvantages associated with the rear shelf solution (customer satisfaction).
