Customer information for installation location of GPS antenna 

There are two different types of installation for the GPS antenna:

1. The standard GPS antenna from Daimler on the roof or the trunk lid. This variant offers the best reception characteristics and it is therefore the preferred one in use.

1. Use of a magnetic antenna in the vehicle interior. This variant is included in the Becker company's package contents and the installation is described in the Becker company's installation instructions.

The GPS antenna may only be installed in a horizontal position, with a max. deviation of 10° from the horizontal plane.

The GPS antenna must always have a free line of sight to the sky.

Tinted glass windows can significantly impair the GPS antenna function.

When installing the GPS antenna always make sure that the arched antenna surface faces upwards.
