| 1 | Remove vehicle key and mains plug | ||
| Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. | AS00.00-Z-0010-01A | |
| 2 | Raise vehicle with vehicle lift | ||
| 3 | Unclip connector of brake booster vacuum pump (M57x1) at bracket (1) and disconnect | ||
| 4 | Unscrew screw/bolt (2) | ||
| 5 | Remove screws/bolts (3) | ||
| 6 | Expose electrical wiring harness (4) at bracket (1) | ||
| 7 | Guide brake booster vacuum pump (M57) with bracket (1) out until the pneumatic clutch (6) of brake booster vacuum line at rear (5) is accessible. | ||
| 8 | Operate both catch hooks of pneumatic clutch (6) simultaneously in the arrow direction and detach brake booster vacuum line at rear (5) at brake booster vacuum pump (M57) | Check brake booster vacuum line at rear (5) for damage and replace if necessary. ↓ Remove/install brake booster vacuum line |
