| 1 | Remove right soft top drive (M12/8) | AR77.39-P-4010MCO | |
| 2 | Guide soft top connector (X23/7) out of B-pillar, disconnect and open cable tie (5) | ||
| 3 | Disconnect electrical connector (1) and remove electric wiring harness (4) from steering wheel (2) | ||
| 4 | Remove retainer (6) from retaining bolts on right rear soft top microswitch (S84/39) using suitable tool and remove right rear soft top microswitch (S84/39) | Do not damage retaining bolts. Otherwise the electrical wiring harness (4) must be replaced. |

| 5 | Remove retaining clip (7) from main bearing (3) and remove electric wiring harness (4) | Route electrical wiring harness (4) such that it cannot be damaged by chafing or crushing. Otherwise the electrical wiring harness (4) must be replaced. |

| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 7 | Perform function test |
