	Check
1	Switch off engine and switch on ignition	Engine hood, trunk lid, retractable hardtop and all doors closed.
2	Operate parking brake
3	Check warning lamps (8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17) and indicator lamps (9, 14, 16) for proper operation	In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
4	Manually switch on low beams	The low beams indicator lamp (4) and standing lights indicator lamp (6) must light up and there must not be a lamp failure message in the multifunction display (18). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
5	Switch on high beam	The high beams indicator lamp (3) must light up and there must not be a lamp failure message in the multifunction display (18). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
6	Switch on front fog lamps	The front fog lamp indicator lamp (7) must light up and there must not be a lamp failure message in the multifunction display (18). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
7	Switch on rear fog lamp	The rear fog light indicator lamp (5) must light up and there must not be a lamp failure message in the multifunction display (18). In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
8	Engage reverse gear and press service brake	No lamp failure message in the multifunction display (18).
9	Switch off ignition and exterior lights
10	Switch on hazard warning flasher	The left and right turn signal light indicator lamps (1, 2) light and flash at the same time. In the event of complaints: ↓ Determine and rectify cause, subject to separate repair order
11	Switch off hazard warning flasher
