Use of fine polishing paste - AP98.00-P-0638SM

MODEL 450, 451, 452, 454 

  Application    
1 Wash and dry the vehicle IMPORTANT Other contaminants, such as tar splashes and industrial deposits should be removed before using fine polish. *BR00.45-Z-1002-04A 
2 Buff out damage locally with a lambskin wheel and fine polishing paste NOTES Guide polishing machine (buffer) with light pressure and do not tilt over otherwise buffer swirl can arise.
IMPORTANT The speed of the disc should be no less than 1, 500 rpm (otherwise inadequate polishing effect on fine scratches or sanding spots) and no more than 2, 000 rpm.
Use cork or rubber backing discs. Take care not to rub through the top coat film. Depending on the damage mode, roughen or grind the affected area beforehand with wet abrasive paper (P2000). Remove buffer swirl: ↓

3 Buff up any visible polishing marks and the entire surface of the part IMPORTANT with polishing disk (moltoprene disk) without polish. Buff up until the luster of the adjacent surfaces is reached.

4 Rub off polishing remains using a clean polishing wad moistened in water IMPORTANT Continue rubbing after the drying process.  
5 Buff up the surface manually with polish and a polishing wad IMPORTANT To make polishing work easier, use clean polishing wad and clean polishing cloths. *BR00.45-Z-1013-04A 
6 Rub off polish remains using a clean polishing wad moistened in water until the surface is clear IMPORTANT After the drying process, a light film is formed on the treated surface.  
7 Treat the surface with gloss preserver IMPORTANT Gloss preservation protects the paintwork against premature matting. *BR00.45-Z-1014-04A
