1	Remove center console cover (1)

2	Remove radio recess cover (2)	The radio recess cover (2) is screwed down with four screws/bolts.
3	Remove cable tie (4) and expose smart Entry radio wiring harness (3)
4	Remove dashboard bottom section on passenger side (9)	Only if the wiring harness (8) with the external USB connector connecting point (X115) and external audio source connecting point (X39/45) is to be installed.

5	Insert wiring harness (8) with the external USB connector connecting point (X115) and the external audio source connecting point (X39/45) in the cutout at the passenger-side instrument panel lower section (9) and install the passenger-side instrument panel lower section (9)	Only if the wiring harness (8) with the external USB connector connecting point (X115) and external audio source connecting point (X39/45) is to be installed.

8	Enter special equipment in online vehicle data card via vehicle documentation system (VeDoc)	Add CODE 516 (RADIO WITH USB INTERFACE).
9	Document retrofitted equipment in VeDoc	Attach note "smart Entry radio retrofitted as per AZ82.60-P-0003MCD " and the serial number of the smart Entry radio (A2/3) .
10	Perform function test	See Owner's Manual.
