Support fuel tank (1) with a transmission jack and a removal fixture
Telescopic lifter
Unscrew bolts (2).
Installation: Replace self-locking bolts (2).
Screw in bolts of the size M8 80 instead of bolt (2) by about 5 threads.

Unscrew bolt (3).
Installation: Install new self-locking bolt (3)
Loosen bolts (4).
Installation: Replace self-locking bolts (4).
Carefully lower fuel tank (1).
Ensure that the electrical connector as well as the fuel lines on the fuel pump with fuel level sensor are not damaged since they have to be replaced otherwise.
Install in the reverse order.
