DTC B1500: Fuel Sender Open Detected [06/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

1. Disconnect the F32 combination meter assembly connector.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

1. Disconnect the L12 fuel suction tube with pump and gauge assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F32-16 (L) - L12-2 (FS)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F32-15 (E) - L12-3 (FE)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F32-16 (L) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F32-15 (E) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

2. Inspect the fuel sender gauge assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [06/2015 - ]

   OK

   Fuel sender gauge assembly is normal.
