DTC B11E9-11: Left Rear Door Ajar Switch circuit short to ground [07/2015 - ]: Procedure
- VERIFY MAIN BODY ECU DTCS AGAIN
- Clear the DTC for the main body ECU using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]
Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Clear DTCs
- Open/close the rear door (LH).
- Retrieve the main body ECU DTCs using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]
Body Electrical > Body Control Module > Trouble Codes
- Is the same DTC displayed?

- Clear the DTC for the main body ECU using the Techstream.
- INSPECT REAR DOOR LOCK (LH) CONNECTOR CONDITION
- Switch the ignition off
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Refer to REMOVAL [07/2015 - ]
- Disconnect the rear door lock (LH) connector.
- Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
- Is the connector normal?

- Disconnect the main body ECU connector.
- Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.

- INSPECT REAR DOOR LATCH SWITCH (LH) CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO GROUND
- Verify that the rear door lock (LH) and main body ECU connectors are disconnected.
- Inspect for continuity between rear door lock (LH) terminal F14-12*1 or F19-12*2 (wiring harness-side) and body ground.

- If the malfunction recurs, replace the main body ECU.

- REFER TO THE WIRING DIAGRAM AND VERIFY WHETHER OR NOT THERE IS A COMMON CONNECTOR BETWEEN REAR DOOR LOCK (LH) TERMINAL F14-12*1 OR F19-12*2 AND MAIN BODY ECU TERMINAL E1-3.
