INSPECT DTCS IN CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

Inspect the DTC for the center airbag sensor assembly on-board diagnostic system.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

VERIFY WHERE MALFUNCTION IS IN WARNING LIGHTS INDICATION CIRCUIT OR ELSEWHERE

Turn on all warning lights and indicator lights using the combination meter PID WL+IL of simulation function using the Techstream.
Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [07/2015 - ]

Do other waning and indicator lights illuminate?

INSPECT DTCS IN COMBINATION METER

Inspect the DTC for the combination meter on-board diagnostic system.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

VERIFY THAT MALFUNCTION SYMPTOMS DO NOT RECUR AFTER REPAIR

Switch the ignition off.
Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).

Does the air bag system warning light operate properly?

RECHECK MALFUNCTION SYMPTOMS, THEN REPEAT FROM STEP 1 IF MALFUNCTION RECURS.

Yes

VERIFY THAT THERE ARE NO DTCS IN THE MEMORY.

If there are no DTCs, the troubleshooting is completed.

PERFORM THE APPLICABLE DTC INSPECTION.

Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [07/2015 - ]

Then go to the next step.
