DTC B1226-55: Driver Restraints Pressure Sensor Not Configured; DTC B1227-55: Passenger Restraints Pressure Sensor Not Configured [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Perform the center airbag sensor assembly configuration using the Techstream.

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2015 - ]

2. Clear the DTC for the center airbag sensor assembly using the Techstream.

   Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [07/2015 - ]

   Body Electrical > Restraint Control Module > Clear DTCs 

3. Perform the DTC inspection for the center airbag sensor assembly using the Techstream.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

   Body Electrical > Restraint Control Module > Trouble Codes 

4. Are the same DTCs present?

   Result

   Yes
   No

Result:  2

No 

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED.

1. Verify that the driver or passenger-side side airbag sensor (for front door) is correctly installed.
2. Is the driver or passenger-side side airbag sensor (for front door) correctly installed?

1. Clear the DTC for the center airbag sensor assembly using the Techstream.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

   Body Electrical > Restraint Control Module > Clear DTCs 

2. Perform the DTC inspection for the center airbag sensor assembly using the Techstream.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

   Body Electrical > Restraint Control Module > Trouble Codes 

3. Are the same DTCs present?

REPLACE THE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY.. Refer to  REMOVAL [07/2015 - ]
