Removal [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE METER HOOD 
    1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

    2. Remove the upper column cover.

      See step  1

    3. Hold the shaded area shown in the figure, pull the meter hood in the direction of the arrow and detach clips A and B from the instrument panel safety pad.

    4. Hold the shaded area shown in the figure, pull the meter hood in the direction of the arrow and detach the clips from the instrument panel safety pad.

    5. Hold the shaded area shown in the figure, pull the meter hood in the direction of the arrow and detach clips A and B from the instrument panel safety pad.

    6. Disconnect the engine switch connector.

    7. Remove the meter hood.
    8. Remove the engine switch.
