Removal [07/2015 - ]: Procedure
- REMOVE DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- Remove the following parts:
- Driver-side front scuff plate
See step 1
- Driver-side front side trim
See step 1
- Hood release lever

- Fuel-filler lid opener lever
Refer to REMOVAL [07/2015 - ]
- Driver-side front scuff plate
- Partially peel back the seaming welt.
- Remove the bolt.
*a BOLT *b DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL N*m (kgf*cm, ft.*lbf): Specified torque - - - Move the driver-side lower panel in the order of arrows (1), (2), and (3) shown in the figure, and detach clips A and B, and the hooks.
*a INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD *b DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL *c CLIP A *d HOOK *e CLIP B - - - Move the driver-side lower panel in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure, and detach clips A and B, and the guide.
*a INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD *b DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL *c CLIP A *d CLIP B *e GUIDE - - - Disconnect the cluster switch connector.
*a CLUSTER SWITCH CONNECTOR *b CLIP *c DLC-2 CONNECTOR *d SCREW *e DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL - Remove the clip.
- Remove the DLC-2 connector.
- Remove the screw.
- Remove the bracket.
*a BRACKET *b DRIVER-SIDE LOWER PANEL - Remove the driver-side lower panel.
- Remove the cluster switch when replacing the driver-side lower panel.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
