| DETECTION CONDITION |
- Any of the following conditions is met with the ignition switched ON (engine assembly off or on):
- The power source control (power management control ECU) received a headlight LO on request signal error signal from the main body ECU for 2 s or more.
- The power source control (power management control ECU) received a headlight HI on request signal error signal from the main body ECU for 2 s or more.
- The power source control (power management control ECU) detected a mismatch in the following signal combinations received from the main body ECU for 2 s or more.
- Headlight variation information signal
- Headlight LO on request signal
- The power source control (power management control ECU) detected a mismatch in the following signal combinations received from the main body ECU for 2 s or more.
- Headlight variation information signal
- Headlight HI on request signal

Exterior lighting system
- When the ignition is switched ON (engine off or on), the headlights LO, TNS (Parking Lights), and panel light turn on and other exterior light controls are stopped.

| POSSIBLE CAUSE |
- DTCs are stored in the main body ECU.
- Main body ECU connector or terminal malfunction
- Power source control (power management control ECU) connector or terminal malfunction
- Short to ground in wiring harness between main body ECU terminal E1-13 and power source control (power management control ECU) terminal E3-15
- Short to power supply in wiring harness between main body ECU terminal E1-13 and power source control (power management control ECU) terminal E3-15
- Main body ECU malfunction
- Power source control (power management control ECU) malfunction
