Door Glass Other Than Driver's Door Cannot Be Operated Using Power Window Main Switch (Can Be Operated Using Subswitchs) [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Switch the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

   Refer to REMOVAL [07/2015 - ]

3. Disconnect the power window master switch connector.
4. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
5. Is the connector normal?

1. Disconnect the power window switch connector.
2. Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.

1. Reconnect all the disconnected connectors.
2. Connect the negative battery cable.

3. Measure the voltage at the following power window master switch terminals (vehicle wiring harness).

   Refer to INSPECTION [07/2015 - ]

   • Terminals F3-7 and F3-8 if door glass (RF) does not operate
   • Terminals F3-4 and F3-5 if door glass (LR) does not operate
   • Terminals F3-1 and F3-2 if door glass (RR) does not operate
4. Is the power window master switch normal?

VERIFY THE MALFUNCTION SYMPTOM IN THE SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING CHART AND PERFORM THE OTHER APPLICABLE MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS. 

• Power window master switch terminal F3-8 and front passenger side power window switch (RF) terminal F6-5
• Power window master switch terminal F3-7 and front passenger side power window switch (RF) terminal F6-2
• Power window master switch terminal F3-5 and rear power window switch (LR) terminal F7-5
• Power window master switch terminal F3-4 and rear power window switch (LR) terminal F7-2
• Power window master switch terminal F3-2 and rear power window switch (RR) terminal F8-5
• Power window master switch terminal F3-1 and rear power window switch (RR) terminal F8-2

If there is a common connector: 

• Inspect the common connector and terminals for corrosion, damage, or disconnection and the common wiring harnesses for an open or short circuit to determine the malfunctioning location.
• Repair or replace the malfunctioning location.

If there is no common connector: 

• Repair or replace the wiring harness which has an open or short circuit.
