VERIFY ECM DTCs

Retrieve the ECM DTCs using the Techstream.
Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [07/2015 - ]

REPAIR OR REPLACE THE MALFUNCTIONING PART ACCORDING TO THE APPLICABLE DTC TROUBLESHOOTING. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [07/2015 - ]

VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS ECM DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY

Clear the DTC for the combination meter using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

Body Electrical > Instrument Cluster > Clear DTCs
Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 20 s or more.
Retrieve the combination meter DTCs using the Techstream.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2015 - ]

Body Electrical > Instrument Cluster > Trouble Codes

Is the same DTC displayed?

VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED

Retrieve the combination meter DTCs using the Techstream.

REPEAT THE INSPECTION FROM STEP 1.

If the malfunction recurs, replace the combination meter.
