Removal [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

HINT: 

• Fogging or condensation on the inside of the rear combination light assemblies may occur due to a natural phenomenon occurring as a result of a temperature difference between the interior and exterior of the combination light assemblies. However, it has no effect on the light performance because the temperature inside the rear combination light assemblies rises after illuminating a rear turn signal light or a period of time has elapsed.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

   Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

2. Remove the service hole cover.

3. Disconnect the connector.

   	N*m (kgf*cm, ft.*lbf): Specified torque	-	-

4. Remove the nuts in the order of (1), (2), and (3).
   NOTE:

   • When removing the rear combination light assembly from the body, it could interfere with the body and cause scratching or damage to the body. When removing the rear combination light assembly from the body, apply protective tape to the body.
5. To prevent scratches or damage, affix protective tape to the position shown in the figure.
   NOTE:

   • When removing the rear combination light assembly from the body, the grommet could fall off and become lost. When removing the rear combination light assembly from the body, verify that the grommet remains in the body.

6. Pull the rear combination light assembly in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and pull out pin, stud bolts and hook from the body.

7. Remove the rear combination light assembly.
