DTC B1647/82: Lost Communication with Side Satellite Sensor Bus LH: Description

The side and rear collision sensor LH circuit (to determine deployment of the front seat airbag assembly LH, front seat outer belt assembly LH, curtain shield airbag assembly LH and rear window curtain shield airbag assembly) is composed of the airbag ECU assembly, door side airbag sensor LH, side airbag sensor assembly LH and rear airbag sensor LH.

The door side airbag sensor LH, side airbag sensor assembly LH and rear airbag sensor LH detect impacts to the vehicle and send signals to the airbag ECU assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.

This DTC is stored when a malfunction is detected for the side and rear collision sensor LH circuit (to determine deployment of the front seat airbag assembly LH, front seat outer belt assembly LH, curtain shield airbag assembly LH and rear window curtain shield airbag assembly).
