DTC B1625/22: Side Airbag Sensor LH Circuit Malfunction; DTC B1627/82: Lost communication with Side Airbag Sensor LH: Procedure

1. Turn the power switch off.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
   WARNING:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. Interchange the side airbag sensor assembly LH with side airbag sensor assembly RH and connect the connectors to them.

4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
6. Clear the DTCs stored in the memory. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
7. Turn the power switch off.
8. Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.
9. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
   RESULT
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC B1620/21, B1622/81, B1625/22 and B1627/82 are not output	A
   DTC B1620/21 or B1622/81 is output	B
   DTC B1625/22 or B1627/82 is output	C

   HINT: 

   DTCs other than B1620/21, B1622/81, B1625/22 and B1627/82 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

10. Turn the power switch off.
11. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

12. Return the side airbag sensor assembly RH and side airbag sensor assembly LH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.
