- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU CONNECTOR) See step 1
NG → CONNECT SECURELY
OK: Go to next step
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MOTOR TEMPERATURE)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List / Motor Temperature.
- Read the Data List.
Result
Result Proceed to -40°C (-40°F) A 215°C (419°F) B Same as actual temperature C - Turn the power switch off.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CHECK FOR OPEN)
- Disconnect the motor temperature sensor connector.
- Connect terminals 4 (MMT) and 8 (MMTG) of vehicle side connector B6 of the motor temperature sensor.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List / Motor Temperature
- Read the Data List.

- Reconnect the motor temperature sensor connector.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - MOTOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR)
- Connect terminals 16 (MMT) and 17 (MMTG) of connector A23 of the power management control ECU.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List / Motor Temperature
- Read the Data List.

- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Data List / Motor Temperature
- Read the Data List.

- POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU MUST BE REPLACED
- Even though it has been determined that the power management control ECU needs to be replaced, make sure to inspect the voltage difference between No. 1 EV battery and No. 2 EV battery before replacing it.
