DTC P0630-804: VIN not Programmed or Mismatch-ECM / PCM: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV / Trouble Codes.
4. Check if DTCs related to the EV control system are output.

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC P0630-804 is output.	A
   DTC P0630-804 and other DTCs are output.	B

   NOTE:

   If P0630-804 is stored, the VIN must be input to the power management control ECU using the Techstream. However, all DTCs are cleared automatically by the Techstream when the VIN is input. If DTCs other than P0630-804 are output, troubleshoot them first.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV Battery / Trouble Codes.
4. Check if DTCs related to the EV battery system are output.

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTCs related to EV battery system are not output.	A
   DTCs related to EV battery system are output.	B

   NOTE:

   If P0630-804 is stored, the VIN must be input to the power management control ECU using the Techstream. However, all DTCs are cleared automatically by the Techstream when the VIN is input. If DTCs other than P0630-804 are output, troubleshoot them first.
