DTC P062F-143: EEPROM Malfunction: Procedure

  1. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA (EV BATTERY) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV Battery / Trouble Codes.
    5. Read the freeze frame data of DTC P062F-143.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      "+B" is below 9.5 V A
      "+B" is 9.5 V or higher B
    6. Turn the power switch off.

    B → See step   5 

    A: Go to next step 

  2. RECHARGE AUXILIARY BATTERY 

    Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 3

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  3. CLEAR DTC See step   10 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (EV BATTERY) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more. [A]
    3. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for 15 seconds or more. [B]
    4. Repeat the steps [A] and [B] 3 times.
    5. Turn the Techstream on.
    6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV Battery / Trouble Codes.
    7. Read output DTCs.
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      P062F-143 is output. A
      P062F-143 is not output. B
    8. Turn the power switch off.

    B → See step   6 

    A: Go to next step 

  5. POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU MUST BE REPLACED 
    1. Even though it has been determined that the power management control ECU needs to be replaced, make sure to inspect the voltage difference between No. 1 EV battery and No. 2 EV battery before replacing it.

  6. GO TO NO. 1 EV BATTERY - NO. 2 EV BATTERY VOLTAGE DIFFERENCE INSPECTION. Refer to  No. 1 EV Battery - No. 2 EV Battery Voltage Difference Inspection
