DTC B1820: Short in Side Squib (RH) Circuit; DTC B1821: Open in Side Squib (RH) Circuit; DTC B1822: Short in Side Squib (RH) Circuit (to Ground); DTC B1823: Short in Side Squib (RH) Circuit (to +B): Description

The front side squib RH circuit consists of the airbag ECU assembly and front seat airbag assembly RH.

The airbag ECU assembly uses this circuit to deploy the airbag when deployment conditions are met.

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the front side squib RH circuit.

  • The airbag ECU assembly receives an open circuit signal in the front side squib RH circuit.
