DTC B1620: Side Airbag Sensor RH Circuit Malfunction; DTC B16F4: Side Airbag Sensor RH Mismatch: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
   WARNING:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. Interchange the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly RH with LH and connect the connectors.
4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
5. Clear the DTCs stored in memory. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2013 - ] .
6. Turn the ignition switch off.
7. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
8. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2013 - ] .

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC B1620 or B16F4 is output.	A
   DTC B1625 or B16F5 is output.	B
   DTCs B1620, B1625, B16F4 and B16F5 are not output.	C

   HINT: 

   Codes other than DTCs B1620, B1625, B16F4 and B16F5 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

9. Turn the ignition switch off.
10. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

11. Return the side No. 2 airbag sensor assembly RH and LH to their original positions and connect the connectors.
