DTC B1615: Front Airbag Sensor LH Malfunction; DTC B16F3: Front Airbag Sensor LH Mismatch: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
   WARNING:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. Interchange the front airbag sensor LH with RH and connect the connectors.
4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
5. Clear the DTCs stored in memory. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2013 - ] .
6. Turn the ignition switch off.
7. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
8. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2013 - ] .

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTCs B1610, B1615, B16F2 and B16F3 are not output.	A
   DTC B1615 and B16F3 are output.	B
   DTC B1610 and B16F2 are output.	C

   HINT: 

   Codes other than DTCs B1610, B1615, B16F2 and B16F3 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

9. Turn the ignition switch off.
10. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

11. Return the front airbag sensor LH and RH to their original positions and connect the connectors.
