DTC B1000: Airbag ECU Assembly Malfunction: Description

The airbag ECU assembly consists of the deceleration sensor, drive circuit, diagnosis circuit, ignition control, etc.

If the airbag ECU assembly receives signals from the deceleration sensor, it determines whether the airbag squib and pretensioner squib should be activated.

DTC B1000 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the airbag ECU assembly.
