B → See step 6
A: Go to next step
- Check if a CAN communication DTC is output. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SPEED METER OPERATION)
- Use the Active Test to check the operation of the speedometer. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
.COMBINATION METER
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Speed Meter Operation Speedometer 0, 40, 80, 120 (mph)*1 Confirm that the vehicle is stopped with the engine idling.
Acceptable range (mph): [Control range → Speedometer display]
• 40 → 39 to 42.5 mph
• 80 → 79 to 84 mph
• 120 → 120 to 118 to 125.5 mph0, 40, 80, 120, 160 (km/h)*2 Confirm that the vehicle is stopped with the engine idling.
Acceptable range (km/h): [Control range → Speedometer display]
• 40 → 38 to 43.5 km/h
• 80 → 78 to 85 km/h
• 120 → 118.5 to 126.5 km/h
• 160 → 158 to 168 km/h- *1: for U.S.A.
