- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / EV Battery / Data List / Battery No. 1 Internal Resistance R01 to R12 and Battery No. 2 Internal Resistance R01 to R12.
- Read the Data List.

- Confirm with the customer whether or not to perform "Battery Diagnosis".
HINT:
- It takes about 30 minutes to perform "Battery Diagnosis". If the learning of SOC (state of charge) has not completed yet, it takes about 1 hour for battery diagnosis and SOC (state of charge) learning plus the time required for plug-in charging.
- Depending on the vehicle usage, it is possible to reuse the electric vehicle battery assembly. However, if it is judged not possible to be reused, replace the electric vehicle battery assembly.

- Perform "Battery Diagnosis". Refer to UTILITY
.NOTE:
- Do not perform battery diagnosis while the master warning light is illuminated.
- Perform battery diagnosis with the electric vehicle battery assembly installed correctly.
- Do not perform battery diagnosis while changing from inspection mode to another mode.
- Make sure to turn the power switch off after battery diagnosis to prevent the auxiliary battery from being discharged.
- If the learning of SOC (state of charge) has not been performed, perform battery diagnosis after normal charging the vehicle as specified.
- Check the battery diagnosis result.RESULT
Result Proceed to NG ("Replace the battery stack listed blow" is displayed) A OK ("There is no need to replace battery." is displayed) B NOTE:- If "TRACTION BATT INSPECTION DUE" is displayed on the multi-information display, the message will not be cleared even after it is determined that "There is no need to replace battery". It can be cleared only after performing "Battery Status Info Update".
- Replace the electric vehicle battery assembly even if "Replace the battery stack listed below" is displayed on the Techstream.
- If the electric vehicle battery assembly is replaced, perform "Battery Status Info Update" after replacing it.

- Make sure to perform "Battery Status Info Update" if the electric vehicle battery assembly is replaced.
- Make sure to turn the power switch off after battery status info update to prevent the auxiliary battery from being discharged.
