The electric vehicle battery assembly is composed of 3.7 V cells in 2 packs which are connected in parallel, with each pack containing 75 cells connected in series. Each battery pack has its own battery voltage sensor, which monitors cells as battery blocks consisting of 6 or 7 cells each, and so the battery block voltage is monitored at 12 locations in each battery pack for total of 24 monitoring locations in the electric vehicle battery assembly.
