TC and CG Terminal Circuit: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the connector from the ECM.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D47-13 (TC) - A18-41 (TC)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to ECM)

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D47-4 (CG) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A18-41 (TC) - Body ground	Always	1 MΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

• SST: 09843-18040 

1. Using SST, connect terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.

   NOTE:

   Connect the terminals to the correct positions to avoid a malfunction.

   DTC output mode is set in each ECU.	A
   DTC output mode is not set in ECM.	B
   DTC output mode is not set in center airbag sensor assembly.	C
