DTC B1905/74: Short in Front Pretensioner Squib LH Circuit; DTC B1906/74: Open in Front Pretensioner Squib LH Circuit; DTC B1907/74: Short to GND in Front Pretensioner Squib LH Circuit; DTC B1908/74: Short to B+ in Front Pretensioner Squib LH Circuit: Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
- Check that the connector is properly connected to the front seat outer belt assembly LH.
OK
The connector is properly connected.
HINT:
If the connector is not connected securely, reconnect the connector and proceed to the next inspection.
- Disconnect the connector from the front seat outer belt assembly LH.
- Check that the floor wire connector (on the front seat outer belt assembly LH side) is not damaged.
OK
The lock button is not disengaged, or the claw of the lock is not deformed or damaged.

- Disconnect the connectors from the front seat outer belt assembly LH.
- Connect SST (resistance 2.1 Ω) to connector C.WARNING:
Never connect a tester to the front seat outer belt assembly LH for measurement, as this may lead to a serious injury due to airbag deployment.
NOTE:- Do not forcibly insert SST into the terminals of the connector when connecting.
- Insert SST straight into the terminals of the connector.
- Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored in the memory. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Check the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR
.
OK
DTC B1905, B1906, B1907, B1908 or 74 is not output.
