- CHECK DTC
- SST: 09843-18061
- Disconnect the connector from the steering pad.
- Connect SST (resistance 2.1 Ω) to connector E (black connector).WARNING:
Never connect a tester to the steering pad (driver side squib 2nd step) for measurement, as this may lead to a serious injury due to airbag deployment.
NOTE:- Do not forcibly insert SST into the terminals of the connector when connecting.
- Insert SST straight into the terminals of the connector.
- Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Clear the DTCs stored in the memory. Refer to CHECK MODE PROCEDURE .
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Turn the steering wheel lock to lock 5 times or more.
- Check the DTCs. Refer to CHECK MODE PROCEDURE
.
