DTC B1644/82: Lost Communication with Rear Sensor Bus LH: Description

The circuit for the rear side collision sensor LH (to determine deployment of the rear window curtain shield airbag) is composed of the center airbag sensor assembly and rear airbag sensor LH.

The rear airbag sensor LH detects impacts to the vehicle and sends signals to the center airbag sensor assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.

DTC B1644/82 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the circuit for the rear side collision sensor LH (to determine deployment of the rear window curtain shield airbag).
