DTC B1634/81: Lost Communication with Rear Sensor Bus RH: Description

The circuit for the rear side collision sensor RH (to determine deployment of the rear window curtain shield airbag) is composed of the center airbag sensor assembly and rear airbag sensor RH.

The rear airbag sensor RH detects impacts to the vehicle and sends signals to the center airbag sensor assembly to determine if the airbag should be deployed.

DTC B1634/81 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the circuit for the rear side collision sensor RH (to determine deployment of the rear window curtain shield airbag).
