DTC B1610/13: Front Airbag Sensor RH Malfunction: Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.

2. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
3. Interchange the front airbag sensor RH with LH and connect the connectors to them.
4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 2 seconds.
5. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
6. Clear the DTCs stored in the memory. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
7. Turn the ignition switch off.
8. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and wait for at least 60 seconds.
9. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
   RESULT
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC B1610/13 is output.	A
   DTC B1615/14 is output.	B
   DTC B1610/13 and B1615/14 are not output.	C

   HINT: 

   DTCs other than B1610/13 and B1615/14 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

10. Turn the ignition switch off.
11. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
12. Return the front airbag sensor RH and front airbag sensor LH to their original positions and connect the connectors to them.
