Removal [03/2012 - ]
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for RH and LH sides.
- The procedure listed below is for LH side.
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
- DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
- REMOVE REAR LEFT FLEXIBLE HOSE
- Remove the union bolt and 2 gaskets, and disconnect the rear left flexible hose from the rear disc brake cylinder LH.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*A Solid Disc Brake *B Ventilated Disc Brake - Remove the bolt and separate the rear left flexible hose from the rear carrier LH.
- Hold the rear left flexible hose with a wrench and disconnect the brake tube using a union nut wrench.
NOTE:
- Do not bend or damage the brake tube.
- Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting position.
- Remove the clip.
- Remove the rear left flexible hose.
- Remove the union bolt and 2 gaskets, and disconnect the rear left flexible hose from the rear disc brake cylinder LH.
