Installation [03/2012 - ]

1. Coat a new O-ring with engine oil, and install it.
2. Apply seal packing in a continuous line as shown in the illustration.

   *a	Edge of Groove
   *b	2.0 to 4.0 mm (0.078 to 0.158 in.) in Diameter
   *c	1.0mm or Less

   NOTE:

   • Clean and degrease the contact surface.
   • Install the vacuum pump assembly within 5 minutes of applying seal packing.

   HINT: 

   When replace the vacuum pump assembly on the vehicle, apply seal packing to the vacuum pump assembly.

3. Install the vacuum pump assembly while aligning the grooves of the vacuum pump assembly with the claws of the intake camshaft RH.

   NOTE:

   Make sure that the O-ring is not pinched.

4. Install the 3 bolts.

   Torque: 16 N*m (163 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf) 

1. Install the vacuum tube connector hose.
