- CONFIRM DTC OUTPUT (ECM)
- Check DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

A: Go to next step
- Check DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (TACHOMETER)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.
- Operate the Techstream according to the display and select "Active Test". Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

Engine speed displayed on the tester is approximately the same as that of the tachometer reading.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (TACHOMETER)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Engine start and turn the tester on.
- Operate the Techstream according to the display and select "Data List". Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

Engine speed displayed on the tester is approximately the same as that displayed on the combination meter.
NOTE:Determine whether the value displayed on the tester is within the acceptable range by referring to reference values described in "ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION" See step 3.

- GO TO DTC P0335. Refer to DTC P0335: Crankshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit; DTC P0339: Crankshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Intermittent
- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL
- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING
