The side airbag sensor LH or RH consists of a safing sensor, diagnostic circuit, lateral deceleration sensor, etc.
If the center airbag sensor receives signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, it determines whether the SRS should be activated.
DTC B1620/21, B1622/81, B1625/22 or B1627/82 is stored when a malfunction is detected in the side airbag sensor LH or RH circuit.
