Rear Brake Flexible Hose: Removal: Removal

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The following procedure is for the LH side.

NOTE:

If the RH side flexible hose and LH side flexible hose are both removed from the vehicle at the same time, place an identification mark on each hose so that it can be reinstalled to its original position.

REMOVE REAR WHEEL
REMOVE CENTER COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 1
DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTE:
Immediately wash off any brake fluid that comes into contact with any painted surfaces.
REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE
1. Remove the union bolt and gasket and disconnect the rear flexible hose from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.

2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear flexible hose from the rear axle beam.

3. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake line while holding the rear flexible hose with a wrench.
  NOTE:
  - Do not kink or damage the brake line.
  - Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.
4. Remove the clip and rear flexible hose.
